What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy knowing that together through Second Helpings’ mission we’re helping to make people’s lives better and happier.
What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned that I’m happier and more productive doing work that I’m passionate about than anything else. It’s the reason I’ve stayed here for so long instead of going back to the for-profit sector.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Maybe I’d choose to be a paralegal or something else doing research. I enjoy learning and looking for information.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Here in Indianapolis. I’m blessed to work here at Second Helpings and to have family and friends here.
