Second Helpings is a volunteer-powered organization. Every day, volunteers make every part of our mission possible – from chopping produce to answering phones, from delivering meals to teaching students.

Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Saturday, in the kitchen, warehouse, office, and more. See the full list of positions to find one that fits your interests and schedule.

Ready to fight hunger with us? We use a volunteer management system called Get Connected. To sign up as a volunteer, your first step is to create an account on this platform. Then you’ll be able to sign up for future volunteer opportunities, for yourself, family, or other group. Once you have created an account and signed up, our Volunteer Services team will reach out with next steps.
