Second Helpings will close from Thursday, November 23 until Saturday, November 25, 2017 in observance of Thanksgiving. Volunteer shifts will resume on Monday, November 27th. All hunger relief meals will be delivered ahead of time.
If you’re in search of a delicious, local beer as you head into your Thanksgiving weekend, please consider stopping by Kuma’s Corner in Fountain Square, where Central State Brewing will host a tap takeover on Wednesday, November 22nd from 5-8pm. A portion from each pour will support Second Helpings’ food rescue, hunger relief and culinary job training efforts: RSVP via Facebook.
