Join the ABIDE Team

Before asking you a few questions, we’d like to briefly share some background about ABIDE and how the ABIDE Team is structured. For context, here is the ABIDE Team’s vision, mission, and values. The ABIDE Team is made up of two groups, the ABIDE Committee and the ABIDE Subcommittees.

The ABIDE Committee reviews, approves, and manages the initiatives generated from the subcommittees and/or Leadership Team. (Sometimes the ABIDE Committee is referred to as “Big ABIDE.”)

The ABIDE Committee application window for 2024 has closed. You are welcome to submit your application any time, but new members are only added in February.

The ABIDE Subcommittees generate and implement initiatives and programs that follow ABIDE’s mission. (Sometimes the ABIDE Subcommittees are referred to as “Little ABIDE.”) We currently have two subcommittees, the Education subcommittee and the Community Engagement subcommittee, are launching a third subcommittee on Workplace Culture, and can add more as interest allows.
