Title: Visual Communication Specialist
How long have you worked at Second Helpings?
I’ve been interning here since the end of January and started full-time mid-August.
What do you like most about your job?
I love having a wide variety of projects I work on, print and digital materials, newsletters, postcards etc. I’m excited to see what other things this job has in store for me.
What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Communicating your ideas can be hard. Sometimes you have to go beyond verbal communication to get your points across. Maybe through drawing a picture or making a prototype.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I’d probably be an architect or work somewhere in the realm of computer science.
Where is your favorite place to be?
I love being outside in nature.
Favorite line from a movie or book?
I couldn’t recite a line from a book or movie to save my life.
