Eli Lilly & Company Canned Vegetable Drive

Eli Lilly & Company is participating in a company-wide canned vegetable and fund drive to #FeedIndy with Second Helpings this February.

Second Helpings relies on food drives to bring much needed non-perishable food to prepare nutritious meals in their Hunger Relief kitchen. Second Helpings uses 100 pounds of vegetables in every tilt skillet. With their four tilt skillets operating multiple times a day to produce 4,000 meals daily, the vegetables you collect will be put right to use feeding Indy!

The food you collect will be used to create nutritious meals for people in our community who may otherwise not get a full meal today. Nutritious meals are distributed to over 100 nonprofit partner organizations throughout central Indiana, including shelters, senior centers, and after-school programs.

You can also contribute to this effort with a monetary donation below. Your gift will allow Second Helpings to purchase non-perishable food and other essential meal supplies to help volunteers and staff prepare and deliver more than 4,000 nutritious meals every day to our central Indiana neighbors, many who are experiencing hunger for the first time amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
