Here are a few of the frequently asked questions about volunteering at Second Helpings:

Q. Is there a minimum number of volunteer hours required?
A. There is no formal minimum, but we ask that volunteers come in at least once a month.

Q. Why do I need to attend a volunteer orientation?
A. You are expected to attend an orientation to ensure that all volunteers are completely aware of all aspects of food safety.

Q. Are there opportunities available for teens?
A. Yes, however, all volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in the production kitchen because of our insurance regulations. Occasionally, we have limited opportunities for younger teens.

Q. Can my group volunteer for a one-time event?
