Marigold Turns 21!
It’s hard to believe Marigold is turning 21!
We opened our doors on September 9th, 1989. There was a preview party the night before, and it rained like crazy. Our awning wasn’t up yet, and the rain came in the store like an uninvited guest. We weathered that storm, and here we are 21 years later still having fun with fashion!
On Wednesday, September 15th, we are throwing a party to say THANK YOU to all of our customers, friends and family.
Please join us from 5 – 9pm. Our new location (well not so new; it’s been home for almost 2 years)is 6512 N. Cornell Ave. (next to the Broad Ripple Brew Pub).
In our effort to give back to the community, we have chosen one of our favorite not-for-profits, SECOND HELPINGS, to be a beneficiary of our celebration. They do amazing things with rescued food and also provide culinary training to individuals who otherwise may not be employed. Marigold will donate a portion of the sales on the night of our celebration, AND we will also have a pasta/rice drive. Here’s what you have to do to get in the door: bring 5 pounds of pasta or rice (not cooked,
of course) and help us reach our goal of 1,000 pounds to be donated to SECOND HELPINGS. In exchange you will receive a chance to win some fun prizes.
