Indianapolis Racquet Club - Hunger Fighters!

As an organization, we appreciate the loyalty and support of the tennis community, and seek ways to share our success with others. For many years, IRC has donated racquets and balls to organizations such as the National Junior Tennis League, which assists deserving Indiana youth in learning to play our “sport for a lifetime.” During the holiday season, we hope to expand our efforts to reach a broader range of individuals.

With this goal in mind, we have partnered with Second Helpings to assist them in their mission of providing hearty and nutritious meals to many who would otherwise go hungry. We are collecting donations of pasta and rice, and to encourage the participation of our membership and customers, we are offering a special Pro Shop discount to those who donate three or more items. IRC and the Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops are very pleased to join efforts with Second Helpings, and hope to contribute to their ongoing success. We sincerely applaud the organization’s goals of feeding the hungry in our community and providing culinary training for disadvantaged adults in order to help eliminate hunger at its source.

Since opening its doors in 1965, the Indianapolis Racquet Club (IRC) has offered the opportunity to play tennis on its 24 indoor courts at two locations, with instruction provided by some of the finest tennis professionals in the Midwest. The Indianapolis Racquet Club Pro Shops have been honored by the Tennis Industry Association as a nationally recognized tennis retailer, and in 2008 was named Best Pro Shop by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.
